Ensuite Bathroom
Client Brief
It was important to our clients that the new ensuite bathroom design incorporated open and clean lines with a colour scheme that was sophisticated. Large storage space was not required in this bathroom however a new lighting plan was required.

Design Statement
Marks design opened the bathroom, removing all unnecessary clutter. Selecting
Cava green geometric waterjet cut patterned porcelain tiles grouted in terracotta created an air of sophistication to the rear wall of the large walk-in shower recess.
Teaming the natural palette with a solid timber vanity brings a welcoming warmth to the ensuite bathroom. Mark ensured the lighting plan included task lighting over the vanity and mood lighting recessed into the top of the wall-to-wall niche. With multiple switches our client can select which lights are utilised.

Main Bathroom
This modern two storey town house with a neutral colour palette was slowly being transformed into a home of vibrancy with interesting focal points as our client introduced their own personality into the home. After renovating the downstairs our clients attention was now onto the renovating the upstairs ensuite, main bathroom and laundry.

Client Brief
Teenage girls’ bathroom
Our clients brief was to create a bathroom her early teenage girls would love but be sophisticated enough to stand the test of time.
The new bathroom had to remove the clutter the shower over bath created. A walk in shower was requested as the family no longer used the bath.
The existing small vanity was bulging at the seams with products, addressing storage was a must, however it needed to be generous enough to no longer see a clutter of products left out on the bench.

Design Statement
Renovating the main bathroom saw the shower over bath transformed into a large walk in shower recess with a niche that ran wall to wall. The niche created abundance storage space for the girls products as well as an architectural twist to the room.
In keeping with the downstairs theme, a feature wall of Ocean Majolica vertical subways was laid to the rear wall of the shower recess.
A custom made all draw vanity with two basins gave the girls plenty of storage as well as the luxury of two mirrored cabinets creating eye level storage ensuring so no products stayed on top of the bench top.

Laundry
Client Brief
After struggling with a poorly designed laundry, it was imperative the new design includes both tall storage cupboards and wall and base cupboards as well as a bench top to fold washing on.

Design Statement
Mark and our client worked closely to design a laundry to house all the family’s laundry needs. Tall cupboards were installed to store the vacuum cleaner and ironing board, brooms, and mops. The front loader washing machine is tucked under the bench and plumbed into the laundry sink. The stone bench top extended across the top of the washing machine creates a large space to fold washing.
Wall mounted cabinetry enabled a hanging rail to be mounted underneath for shirts to dry. Introducing a monochromatic colour scheme suits the clean lines of the laundry cabinetry.

Cabinetry: Custom made
Bench Top: Caesar stone
Wall Tiles: White subways with black grout
