Exciting bathroom design ideas for 2019.

Each year in the European summer, architects designers and retailers from around the world explore the Italian and international exhibitors at Cersaie in Bologna Italy. During our visit to Cersaie we were like kids in a candy store, so many visually exciting tile and bathroom furnishing exhibitions to see and to be exposed to the design results of the worlds creative minds was truly inspirational.

Here is a peak at what we saw;

Coloured Basins, Baths and Toilets.
Who would have thought we would see coloured sanitary ware again. Only this time the colours are pastel soft or rich and muted. The finish is matt or satin with a surface that all you tactile people will love to touch. Whilst wall mounted toilet pans have been around for many years, they are now matt white or the same coloured finish of the bath and basin. Coloured vanity basins and freestanding baths bring’s an interesting design element to the room.

Wet area wallpapers.

What’s in – wallpaper in floral and geometric shapes perfectly colour balanced to work well with current bathroom tiles. Recently Rob our clever master painter hung the newly arrived wallpaper mural in our exciting new showroom display. Wet area wallpaper is a great alternative to wall tiles, wallpaper adds another texture to the room and is terrific way to add depth and interest to your bathroom.

Bathroom Mirrors: torn between square or round.

Whilst round mirrors still feature heavily in 2019, the soft square or soft rectangle is this years look. Framed mirrors are finer and streamline, they look amazing with their thin frame in steel or Corian.
